1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing World of Warships Captain Builds (the “Site”) you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.

2. A fan project, not an official product

The Site is an unofficial, community-maintained fan project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or connected to Wargaming.net or any of its subsidiaries or partners.

World of Warships, ship names, in-game imagery, commander and skill artwork and all related marks are trademarks or registered trademarks of Wargaming.net. They are used here for identification and reference purposes only, under the general principle of nominative fair use. All game assets remain the property of their respective owners.

3. The content is advice, not fact

Builds, skill orders, upgrade choices and playstyle notes are the opinions of community contributors. They reflect a particular game version and a particular competitive context, and they can be wrong, outdated or unsuited to how you play.

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. Game balance changes frequently and we do not promise that any part of the guide is current. In-game decisions — including how you spend credits, doubloons, captain XP or real money — are yours alone.

4. Permitted use

You may read, print and share links to the guide freely. You may not:

• scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Site in a way that places an unreasonable load on it, or use automated tools to harvest its content for republication;
• republish substantial portions of the guide as your own work, or mirror it without attribution and a link back;
• interfere with the Site’s operation or security, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our consent;
• misrepresent the Site as an official Wargaming product or as endorsed by us.

Reasonable personal use — reading, quoting a build with credit, linking from your clan’s Discord — is always welcome.

5. Intellectual property

The written guide text, the layout and the code of the Site belong to their respective contributors. Third-party trademarks, screenshots and game assets belong to their owners as set out in section 2.

If you own rights in material published here and want it credited differently or removed, contact us (section 11) with enough detail to identify the material and we will act promptly.

6. Advertising

The Site is free and is funded by display advertising served through NitroPay (Overwolf). Ads are supplied by third parties: we do not choose, review or endorse individual advertisers, products or offers, and we are not party to any dealings between you and an advertiser.

You are free to use an ad blocker. Please consider allowlisting the Site — advertising is what keeps it online and free to read. What advertising partners collect, and how to change your consent, is covered in the Privacy Policy; you can also read NitroPay’s notice and the Overwolf privacy policy directly.

7. Third-party links and embeds

The Site links to and embeds external resources — the source document, community Discord servers, Wargaming’s official site, and YouTube or Twitch channels. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or terms. Following an external link is at your own risk.

8. Availability and changes

The Site is maintained by volunteers in their spare time. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, and we may revise these terms, at any time and without notice. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the current version; continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept it.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site’s maintainers and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, nor for any loss of data, in-game resources, progress or profit, arising out of your use of — or inability to use — the Site or anything you relied on here.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights granted by the law of your country of residence.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the Site’s operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA or the UK, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings there.

If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
